We bring hot dogs and let the kids cook them on sticks with a little fire. Never get any complaints from them and we've had sledders stop by and fed them too.

Anything peanut butter and bottled water. Since getting type 2 diabetes a few years ago the peanut butter levels sugars and holds of hunger pains and water keeps me from dehydrating and getting those pesky cramps in my feet and calf's.

I tend to stay away from sugar (not diabetic or anything, just think sugar is evil) so no pop or Gatorade. Usually carry water in an insulated container. Jerky and pepperettes as a snack. I'm also gonna put my Stanley 35oz vacuum bottle to carry hot coffee in the cold this winter. It does great in normal temps but will see how it does in the cold.
For meals, I try to find better restaurants like grills and stay away from fast food as much as possible. Not that I hate it, I just like a good meal while riding.

OCD,
I have another strong argument for running a 2 stroke!
Remember these? I had one, need to get another one! I lent it too my buddy and never saw it again.
Fill it with Nathan’s and don’t forget those individual packs of relish!
Get that trailside hotdog stand going on!
