Finaly got my 07 bars so....

I Finaly got my 07 bars from my dealer so do I put the new bars on or do I do the mod w/the 06 bars. I want hot hands!

I cant speak for those that did the mod. I have an 07 and the bars get plenty warm for me.

I did the mod and my hands are nice and toasty. No problems with 800 miles on the machine.

ive still had cold hands with the 07 bars..

I bought a cheap set of guantlets and now my hands stay very warm..

I only use them when i need em..

I got the ipdated bars, with Gauntlets they work great. Without Gauntlets there just ok

I used the 07 sublead with the 06 bars. 2-3 bars on the heat scale is all thats needed. Nice and toasty for 1429 miles, no probs. No guantlets needed.

So you take the 07 sublead and just plug it into the 06 bar's right?

I know this is a long post but check it out. I think it may explain what you have to do. By doing this you will be achieving the same thing all of us did with our 06 bars.

the 07' hand warmer upgrade was useless, the 06' bar's and the 07' harness work's good as long as you keep to 2 bar's, other than that i'm with welterracer use the gauntlet's when you need the extra warmth

Just be CAREFULL and don't get carried away with the heat level. Too much and bad things may happen. Like Sharkattack said, 2 bars, maybe 3 at the most.
