yamahas said:I think if I remember right there are 6 on each side. You have too loosen the rad to get to a few of them.
Make sure the sled is up on blocks before you remove the rest. Also make sure the blocks are not holing the front end and is actually holding the sled.
Okay I'll look around for the other 2..
Does the belly pan have to be off for the front end to come off? From what I can see it doesn't look like it has to be but just checking..
Thanks

I think it might, the bolts holding the belly pan may be attached to the front frame. I have not pulled my frame off for a couple of years not so I can't tell for sure.

Okay thanks,
Reason I ask is because one of the Alan wrench bolts are stripped......
I have taken out all if the bolts that have indents into the aluminum frame.
Are the other 2 different from all of the rest?

This may help. Five bolts total on each side and you can see on the picture were they are located. Three in the bottom triangular bolt spacing and two at the top front. You don't have to remove the belly pan. Disconnect the oil hose from the tank, disconnect the negative and positive wires to the battery and disconnect the steering arm. Undo the bolts and pull it off. Be prepared because it does have some weight and best done with two people.

Yeah that is a huge help!
I have all of those bolts out along with all of the connections...
I have tugged and pulled. Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong?

From what I remember and the parts fiche, I think there are four on each side. Parts fiche with bolts circled attached.
When I was taking it out, I had to pry it downwards as the two aluminum frame sides were keeping it squeezed in place.
Edit: Just saw Ruggy's post, more helpful than mine for the bolts but can't remember where the fifth one would be. Anyway you should be able to get it out one way or another

When I took mine off for the first time it did take a good pull. I'm going to ask stupid question. Did you lift the sled up from anywhere near the belly pan?

From the picture one more bolt above roughly were #35 is for a total of 5 bolts.

I have the sled supported at the back of the belly pan. Should I support it a different way as this could be the issue?
Edit:
This is what I have off on both sides..

It looks like you have the blocks under the frame itself. You should have supports on each side just behind where the 3 bolts are located

Thank you!
Got it off now..
I am stuck once again..
I took the two bolts off the starter. One of which had the negative cord going to the bolt.
On the opposite side of the starter I cant seem to figure out which bolt or alan wrench bolt takes it off..
I can wiggle the side I have off but the other side is stumping me.

It should just be the 2 bolts, one of them has the negative lead and unhook the positive lead.

For the starter, there is no other bolt. It just pulls out. BTW, be sure you drain the oil first. You'll find out why.
