flat spot on driven roller

The test riders experienced this and reported it to the top brass at Yamaha and it was ignored

That sucks! I guess the cat rollers will be back ordered quickly if they work! Makes me wonder if Yamaha will even be in the sled game in the future. The way things are going I'm beginning to think they are about done! No accessories, parts, and they don't seem to even care. Sad for sure!

Sad truth man. From what I'm seeing and hearing cat has there act together. They have been first with recalls and have a lot more parts and accessories.

It appears that cat might be playing Yamaha.. I firmly believe they put the kibosh on the RR skid... And might not be helping Yam but instead intentionally trippng them up...I mean I haven't heard of turbo bolts loose from the green camp either...

Well.....do you guys really think Cat is in any position? If anything, it's the other way around.

Yamaha makes a lot more then sled.....

Then build the baddest sled ever. Only to fall short because of rollers and 8 possibly loose bolts.

Let's breathe.......

How is the team clutching holding up on the thunder cats. Anyone know.

Team have been used by all three manufacturers for several years in rugged sno - x racing. ...no problems with it. highly tune-able and adjustable..

You just can't bolt on the same helix number as they don;'t have the same "bolt circle" for lack of a better word as the Yamaha

Unless you bought a Cat one as the Yamaha has the Cat spline I believe.

I get what your saying. But we aren't talking about bad #*$&@ r1s or fz. They kill the sport bike world for sure.
I guess what I'm saying is IMO Yamaha is getting closer and closer to being engine only ( with sleds ) and it would make sense to leave the sled sales and customer relations to arctic cat.

I'm saying this While I'm sitting on the coach waiting for next week to get on my brand new sled. We get something to talk about, damn we talk about it!

Cool. I really haven't payed attention to cat clutches since the bad f1100 years , back then i got the idea the free floating clutch was the superior clutch for alignment and belt life.

The reason I ask is because I haven't yet got my trade finalized on the SW and the dealer I go to is also cat. Sooo you never know what my compulsive buying habbit could do.

Guys that have never owned a 2012 or 13 cat turbo belt blowers! Cat sent out whole brand new secondary clutch and that still didn't fix it! Now on their 3rd try going with team clutches. I have 300 miles zero problems no blown belts and 128 mph on radar.

You have a sidewinder ?

Yes and it is flashed from day one and is very fast! 3 guys in group with zuk can't touch it! 1 guy sold zuk to buy new turbo after 2 days riding against me.
Nice. That's what we have all expected since the hype started about these sleds. My hope is if left stock I can get good trail performance and good reliability

Cat is spline less.. Built on shaft design.. Cheap metal bushing.. And the team secondary is and has always been junk
