flat spot on driven roller

Guys that have never owned a 2012 or 13 cat turbo belt blowers! Cat sent out whole brand new secondary clutch and that still didn't fix it! Now on their 3rd try going with team clutches. I have 300 miles zero problems no blown belts and 128 mph on radar.
Man do I have to agree with you on this one,my 13 cat turdbo, belt blowing POS was even a motor blower in 2nd year, while cat coverage was gone, and cat don't care was on,well it was on me,blown chaincase and 10 belts in first year, and two more blown belts and blow by on cylinders, they were bad from day one,and my dealer even told me,they had some just like it in 12 and cat took care of them, but they were still in there first year, and was still under arctic cat warrenty, not there 2 and 3rd year insurance they set there customers up with, wel all called it back than, cat don't care, and that insurance co they used, really did not,but cat did fix a lot of stuff because of us belt blowers, and franks m300 jack shafts, and TCL removal kit, that did most of the good things for belt blowers.

Might as well add me in here...my 12 cat turbo had all the issues, and I spent a ton of time doing all the things to help it.

One of the reasons Im still so gunshy of any procross....so I hope the SW does well. Sure miss the big turbo power.

Dont let rollers bother you, we had way bigger issues...rollers are simple.

Well the cat belt blowing issue is bad karma coming back on them. At least Yamaha hasn't tried what cat and ski-doo has been doing for years. That is purposely make light tension clutch setups so you can only run their belts. Ski-doo started it and Cat caught on to it and tried the same. Theory is make the belts only last 800-1200 miles, and if you try to run an aftermarket belt it won't even go 200-300 miles. Then charge crazy prices for the belts. Over the life of the sled that's a lot of money, considering they pay $20 for a belt then sell it to you for $100. Everybody starts putting all these crazy fixes spending money like crazy, and all it is the wrong setup. Not enough belt tension period.

That's crazy if true..
About this roller issue... I've got some torlons rollers coming and should have an extra set or two..

It appears that cat might be playing Yamaha.. I firmly believe they put the kibosh on the RR skid... And might not be helping Yam but instead intentionally trippng them up...I mean I haven't heard of turbo bolts loose from the green camp either...
SJ, I posted this on your other thread. Cat sent out post cards to customers informing of the turbo bolts. My brother bought an ZR 9000 LXR and just got the notice in the mail last week.

Any official response from Yamaha on this issue? I e-mailed Yamaha Canada about this and have not had an answer yet.

thanks for the tip, will do. i was happy to get them to go as i have seen others have file too large issues, including me when i tried to load avatar of my son and i in maine. i still use a flip phone...and only bought an i thingy (how the freak do you work this@#$%#@$#)to listen to music when sledding...

and "Are these supposed to be a different material than the CAT part number in this thread?"
I have ulmers coming too, but after i ordered them the local cat dealer called back and has the torlons in stock, so since he spent an hour looking for them (super nice guy, think mr rogers, not always the fastest, but persistent!) after his tech got on and told me they didn't match the cat clutch(he wasn't listening to me its a winder to just look for the part number)i will get them today also and i will have both to try.
