Forgot just what a blast these Winders are!

I think this sled rocks 6600 kms on sled 4500kms with Hurricane 240/270/290 same belt ultamax xs825 never blown belts. gps runs on lake last run 132 mph ran all day on trails and lake 290 tune major fun factor. Last ride with Yamamarc and convinced me to use 290 since he just runs the 300 only. let me tell you his sled is up in air Or digging trenches lol. I decided not to sale it im keeping this sled since it’s all setup.
Hammer, 132 gps? Stock gearing?

Many likes to your comment. I know a few still that haven't traded their Apex, where they would have normally by now. They don't know what they are missing.
I would be one of those guys. I just finalized the deal on my 2020 ltx le in jet blue. Coming of my faithful apex for 5 seasons. I’m really hoping the miles of smiles are as advertised. Lol. Gonna be a long summer

I rode the same Nytro for 7 seasons.

Congratulations; you are going to love that sled! My riding buddy got the 2019 LTX LE and he couldn't stop smiling all season, a little under 2,000 "miles of smiles" for him. I installed the front QS3's, and I just ordered the rear QS3 for next season so that my Sidewinder will ride like his!

What are you running rtx or ltx I’m having a hard time looking for Qs3r for rear skid mine is rtx.

Took me a while to warm up to the Yamacat concept as well but I finally pulled the trigger on a X-TX LE. So far I am very happy with the SW but I did not get a chance to put many miles on it before my season of riding ended. Hard to part with my trusty Apex so it is not going anywhere.

Mine is the LTX. I was looking to find both the rear and center QS3 shocks, and that seems to be impossible, other than used. (Hygear and Fox do have a custom package on the Hygear site.) I found the QS3 rear for a 137"at Country Cat; they also have the rear for the 129" and it is under $400 with tax and shipping. Apparently most, if not all, of the Cat and Yamaha sleds that come with QS3 shocks, only use them on the rear. I was told that the rear QS3 shock makes a huge difference in the ride.

The good center shock is from the YAM LE models(pre-'19). -Dan

Qs3-No rebound w/ kashima.

Here are the others...Qs3r is a much better shock then Qs3(fronts/rear).

Thanks Dan, I bought the QS3R's for my front suspension, and would love to have found them for the rear. Are these diagrams and prices from someone who currently has them available for sale?

Personally, I want to ride one of these sleds with standard Qs3's and then QS3R's before I were to drop that kind of jing. I only have an SE, so I have the cheap shocks. I am going to try having them revalved first. If that doesn't make me happy, then I will explore upgrading my shocks.

As my 3rd season on the 17 LTX-LE comes to an end, I still think that this thing is still the best rounded sled for my kind of riding!

Have enjoyed over 2400 miles of trail riding on this sled this season, most of it on spectacular trails all over our great State O’ Maine trail systems. Of course I have had some days when traffic or fresh snow, caused the trails to be less then smooth, but with this suspension and those type trails, this sled still shines.

Only other sled that catches my eye would be the 2019 SRX. That dam thing just looks sooo
Good on the snow. But I have to wonder if it could take the bumps as well as mine.

But anyways, with the way I have this sled set up, it really impressed me again this season.

Tunes, skis, track, clutching, etc. got this thing right where I want it!! Nice feeling for sure.

I do know first hand, How Much Of A Blast these Winders Are!!!

A few pics of how this season ended on County Trails!!!
