Forgot just what a blast these Winders are!

They seem to trap moisture inside and then one or both of the brushes hang up.
Couple times I was able to shut off sled, and wait 20 seconds or so, and then start it, code gone, and it went into reverse...

so what is fix? New motor? Warranty? Price of motor?

thnx
Dan

Mine still had warranty at the time.
If I was out of warranty, I would just take the motor apart, clean things up and reassemble. (if this is in fact the problem)

I got the same code the night my brothers 900t chaincase blew apart. I was stuck perpendicular on the trail at night with that code and wouldn't go into reverse and all I am hearing through my speakers is, "Hurry up, get back here, I think my sled is on fire!" Since I couldn't go into reverse, I go forward and then bury it!!! LOL

Just another positive post; I had a great weekend and 551 awesome miles on my Sidewinder, and I just had to share the fact that I love this sled. We had about every conceivable trail condition from glassy smooth to snocross, hardpack to fresh powder, sunshine to blizzard, and that sled just never missed a beat, and I never stopped smiling.

So after some chaincase preventative maintenance and much improved clutching and suspension i must say this thing is a missile. No belts blown all season. Always inspect primary/secondary rollers after every weekend. Very happy with my rtx le 50th.

I 100% can mirror this and agree.....Really feels like Im crazy to move up to a new one, I fear I could get a belt blower that is not easily fixed and really kick myself!

Had to blast a few skidoo’s along #8 rail trail & park roads . I’m guessing they were part of the skidoo ride day in Munising... lol . Upper Michigan has never let me down on the quality of groomed trails yet again .

Exceptional year around my riding area.
Sled just keeps on getting stronger and stronger as I put miles on it. Around 5K now but that will change because I am headed to the County for 3 days.

Have I said how much Of a blast this monster is to ride!!

Finished the season last week after 5 days of running northern Quebec. This sleds just eats up the terrain up there. All high speed cruising. A 130 hp sled would be too wound up all day. The SW cruises along so effortlessly its unbelievable. I am impressed to say the least.

Great pics gang!

What an incredible season it was here. Sled was perfect all season(exception of tensioner roller) ran on ONE BELT all season @270hp and still looks mint. Got 4200 miles on!

Rode Friday and Saturday with some of the best trails all season. Clubs downgraded the Interactive trail Guide,
https://trails.evouala.com/ofsc/ , to yellow and because of this very little traffic was around, and so the trails remained mint smooth and fast. We all were swapping all day Sat having a blast. Saturday was a 400km day which is alot for our tight system, just amazing! After running a 850 G4 alot Sat when swapping, I decided I just don't want another 2s, every time i got back on my Winder it just felt so perfect, and obviously FAST!

Had another TY Member come up here for a couple days and ride with us. His Cat RR 9000 works incredibly good for bone stock HP! Team clutches and 24/50 gearing sure is impressive!

What a winter it's been!

Last riding pics from this season, as the sun sets on winter. Have a great summer gang!

Dan
