I thought I would start a thread in the Nytro section. Since I noticed some of the guys are having trouble with engine oil leaking out when the sled is rolled on it's side.
Simple easy to use tether controlled system. When the tether cord is pulled, the engine is shut down and a shut off valve in the breather hose is closed. Preventing the oil from leaking out. Once the sled is back up-right simply plug the tether back in, and re-start the sled to continue riding!
More info and a couple of related threads.

I had mine installed by my dealer, Pro Caliber in Bend, Or. The guys in service were very impressed by it, and were surprised Yamaha hadn't come out with it, themselves. I know you are patent protected, maybe a market there for you.

Thanks pokerplayer1, one of my goals is to make product that looks and performs just like an OEM factory part!

what about cost. I ride mostly on trails or wooped out sections of ditch. Don't do a lot of deep powder stuff. Have only been upside down a couple of times. Have got a long list a things needed before next winter. Got to prioritize these things cost wise.

Like the cost, love the concept. Will probably go for one before next season. Before figuring out Hyfax issue, changed hyfax a couple of times early this past season. The result was of course oil in airbox, resulting in taking half sled apart looking for a nonexisting oil leak. One thing though, learned alot about my sled!

I hear ya about the hyfax, it one of the uses for the roll-over valve on my sled. Changing hyfax, getting unstuck, changing ski wear bars, getting unstuck, adjusting the suspension, getting unstuck!
On the hyfax issue, I pretty much solved the problem when I went with Hyper fax. They are spendy for sure, however I was able to actually remove some boggie wheels and run scratchers. They look just as good as the day I put'em on

Glad you like it Let me know if you have any questions.
Sounds like you guys are done riding for the year.
I thought that we would be done by now also, due to poor snow this winter.
Now mother nature is suprising us with a cold wet spring, so its been dumping in the mountains! It's been kind of a weird year weatherwise.

Update; I now have rollover valve kits that are plug and play! The rollover valve harness comes with OEM connectors to plug directly into the factory kill switch harness connectors.
Faster and even easier to install, with less tools required!

Bill, I got my dealer in Yellowknife (Force One) to install 3 of your kits to my Phazer, Nytro MTX and Nytro XTX.
I've got the best mechanic in the world working on my sleds for warranty stuff, and he was impressed with your product.
I agree that this product is a must have for a couple reasons. For one, it provides a safety tether/stop switch combo which every sled should have for the safety factor alone. And two, it eliminates the oil spill and it is a huge convienence for any related tasks that require placing your sled on its side as you outlined earlier.
It should definitely be a stock item that comes on all 4 stroke snowmobiles. I pushed my dealership to do some ordering from you to stock your item, but its tough to get customers to understand why they should invest in something like this until after they've come back complaining they've got oil everywhere after placing the sled on its side.
I love this design and i'm really happy all 3 of my sleds have it. Awesome investment. Nice work.
Cheers,
YK

I'm glad that you like them YK!
A long time riding buddy bought a new Phazer mtnlite back in 07. That same year he tipped the sled on it's side and lost about a quart of oil.
Thanks to Spray25 and some others, we were able to drain a little oil out of the other 4 stroke sleds and get him going and continue riding.
We hadn't been around 4 strokes much before then, and didn't realize the sled could loose oil when tipped on it's side. When we got back home I went to work on the rollover valve.
When I bought my Nytro it became my full-time test sled! There are some days the rollover valve gets "tested",,,,, a lot
BTW, my buddy still has that Phazer, he is even still running the OE belt!

Close-out sale on remaining non-plug and play kits.
Since I started building plug and play roll-over valve kits. Demand for the original (non-plug and play kit) has fallen off, while the demand for the new plug and play kit is strong. So I've decided to concentrate on building plug and play rollover valve kits.
I still have a few of the original kits left though. These are the same ones that I sold last season.
All remaining non-plug and play kits are now on close-out special for only $120 plus shipping! Limited quantities remaining.
