Has anyone figured out how to solve the problem of air pressure going up and down in the rear shock? Mine is a 2011 and when you check it with a gauge it will vary 10 to 15 pounds during a ride. In warm weather it really seems to grow air pressure. How do you keep this set so you have it constant at all times or are these just something to mess with every time you ride? Thanks.

Not sure how many people check their pressure that much but my guess is its like a car tire. You check and adjust the pressure cold because after driving and the tire gets warm the pressure will be higher. Not sure why it varies as much as you're finding but my guess would be because the shocks air chamber is small in volume maybe it heats up more with use. Maybe?

you could have it filled with nitrogen. that doesnt expand and contract like air does.
figure out where you want the pressure set. remove it and have a shock company fill it for you.
i have a mega float and set it at 180 psi when its about 10 degrees outside. once set i leave it for the season. I do it early in the morning when the sled has been outside all night. that way i know the shock temp is where i want it to be. if you have it in your garage and fill it, when you get outside the temp is going to drop 40 degrees or so and you are actually using it at a lower pressure then what you set it at.

Just curious, How are you checking it during a ride? You need to get the weight off the suspention to check the pressure. On another note, I don't think I would be taking the factory supplied pump/guage along during a ride, I don't think it would survive very long in the back of the sled if thats what your doing.
