Left side upper ball joint snapped. I smashed a rock pretty hard Thursday night, didn’t think I did any damage, but today it just broke going down the trail. I’m guessing I cracked it Thursday and it just let go today.
New SPI joint with only about 350 miles on it.
What’s the torque spec on the upper ball joint? Have another one coming. Looks like 65lbs but want to make sure.
I used duct tape to keep the a arm out of the way. Rode it like this gently for 5 miles to a spot where I could be picked up.

Yea Pete it could have been real bad, luckily I wasn’t going too fast and close to Sutton center.

Nick, would you by any chance know the part number of your windshield. I would like to pick one up like that.
I don’t. Just did some searches and couldn’t find it for you. I know it’s the yamaha mid height windshield and I have the side deflectors. I might have an old yamaha catalog. If I can find the catalog I’ll get the #. Maybe someone else here has it.

I couldn’t find it under Yamaha US but I just ordered one like that here in Ontario
Yamaha Canada part # SMA8GL9610BF,
They have 4 different colours, black with blue flames which is the part # above, theres a black with red flames, black with orange flames and a white with blues flames, those are the only windshields available for the nytro here in Canada.
