fuel pump wont prime

i was wondering if anyone has had prloblems with the fuel pump not primeing when u turn the key on?? mine does this and it wont start, but if i let it sit over night it'll start up with no prloblems. most of the time it works but, now i am scared to shut it off if i am out in the middel of nowhere. the sled is all stock..

Sounds like your fuel pump relay has moisture in the contacts. Unplug it and dry it out. You can always switch you headlight relay in if it fails./

is the relay hard to get at? i was thinking it has something to do with that. thanx for the info.

The relays are on the left side of the sled just on top of the foot well, the one for the fuel pump is the far right relay. Had the problem with mine, swapped relays, started right up.
