I got around to installing a fuse box relocation kit from BOP. I have never had to get at fuses but if i do this will make it a lot easier nice kit. The only thing i had to change was add a piece of rubber to it i did not like the wires rubbing on the plate and the main harness rubbing on the edge of the plate. The piece of rubber is held down with the bolts that get replaced for belt bracket. I don't know if the fan wires are longer on the 7000 but i did not need the fan extension harness that came with the kit. Thanks cannondale27 for selling me your extra kit!

Looks good!
On viper I used to design the kit the fan lead would not reach. If looking from behind the radiator the fan lead came off the motor at around 3 oclock. If the fan is rotated 180 degrees and lead orieints at 9 oclock then the lead could possibly reach. Do you recall if that's where the lead came off your fan?
My guess is during assembly the fan is not always assembled in same orientation. Rather than require guys to unbolt fan and rotate it I'd rather just keep the extension in the kit to avoid the extra step.

Hey hibshman25 nice piece my leads are right by the overflow bottle.
Mine were too. Havent needed it yet either but sure will keep the swearing down if a fuse pops right MtCooler! That rubber is a good idea. Never thought about that.

I too like the rubber pad idea. Even just a thicker decal, at the contact points, I know I have some Jeggs stickers laying around, would provide for abrasion resistance. This season, she'll stay as is.
My fan lead just made it with a minimal amount of slack when connected. I didn't like the span, even though it was not stretched, so I used the extension cable.
Bonus is freeing up trunk space by storing the belt here.
Great design! Thanks for your attention to detail.

I still can fit my spare belt in there as well. The bracket mounted on a 45 degree angle gives all the wires a place so they don’t rub on anything. Also makes it nice to take the fuse cover off. Just had to bend the bracket with a pair of pliers. The fuse box locks into the bracket still.
