Is it the same horsepower in all Stock fx nytros -08 --09 ?
A friend said that his stock MTX -09 has 144hp
and the older stock nytro-08 135hp
and i said its the same engine same power-whos answer is right?

According to American Snowmobiler Magazine...... they dyno'd the FX Nytro at 138.6 HP

An 09 100% stocker brand new just did 140 hp at dynoport.

09 ARE faster than the 08, so I can beleive the 140hp's

Two different -08 FX Nytros were 123 hp and 124 hp at MCX.
Just as a comparison, in the same dyno, Phazers are ~77 hp and Apex are ~143 hp and my old ported and piped Viper was 163 hp.
Different dynos show different numbers and the number can always be controlled by the dyno operator...

I dyno'd an 08 and tested several 08 ECU's (MTX, RTX, Std, etc) and also tested several 09 ECU's (XTX, MTX, etc) with no differences between the two. I would say all 08's and 09's will run between 138-140 hp on average.

There were several at 140-142. Excell motorsports dyno'd their brand new one last season at 141 hp at Dynotech. I was just there with an 08 and dyno'd 141 hp and my sled had 1000 miles on it.

Nothing but crap like, My brothers-aunts-cousins-ex sister-inlaw's-1st cousin's dad-once removed-uncle's brother-uncle '08 Nytro dyno'd at 3,000 HP and is faster than yours. His is a top secret special order that nobody else can get. All other FX Nytros at the Dyno that day were like only 95 HP and are getting totally bitch-slapped by 340 fanners
