On my last outing I averaged 20.5 mpg.

Well, I can't tell you numbers, haven't bothered to figure it out. I can tell you that the other night, 8 sleds out, 2 Rages and 1 RX1 in the mix, the Rages used 1/4 tank each to the RX1 half tank, its my old RX1 and I always thought it was pretty decent on fuel....love the rage, putting Bender turbo on this Tuesday...hopefully fuel mileage continues post turbo.

About 18 so far but I only got 500 miles.
On the 160 mile day riding with Bluedog and Suisse Sledder (great guys by the way) it dipped down to 16.7 but we did a lot of very high speed running including several laps around the Cisco Chain and I was in the powder most of the time
I have 1,600 miles on my Rage and the best I can get is about 16-maybe 17 but I ride hard like always 85-90+mph so what can you expect..guess thats not bad for hammering all the time.

gas milage Vector and Rage, Venture.

With a good hard pack trail my Vector and my brother's Rage, we both average 21 mpg. Last week we both did 600 miles in the North of Quebec. There is a lot of snow there and you get all the snow conditions. I will say the average mileage for gas consumption is between 18 to 21 mpg.
You have to love it.

:4STroke:
I also think the vectors will get better milage because of the shorter lighter track. should be faster to on top end...29 pounds lighter.

First 175kms, 20.5 litres = approx. 24MPG CAN or approx 20MPG US( did not run the sled hard during these miles, following break-in procedure....)

rs rage mileage

I HAVE A 05 RAGE WITH 800 MILES ON.THE LAST TRIP TO CANADA I WAS GETTING 20 MPG. CALCULATED IN US GALLONS.ALL OF THE RIDING WAS ON GROOMED TRAILS.THIS INCLUDED A 185 MILE DAY WHERE THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME WE WERE CRUISING AT 45 TO 50 MPH.

I HAVE NOTICED THE KNOCKING NOISE SOMEONE WAS TALKING ABOUT,IT IS ONLY AT IDLE AND MY DEALER HAS SERVICED THE SLED AND DIDN'Y FIND ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY.

TWO THINGS I WOULD RECCOMEND TO OWNERS.ADD TWO FUEL SHUTOFF VALVES TO STOP FUEL FROM DRAINING INTO THE ENGINE, AND THE ADDITION OF WOODY'S DUALLY CARBIDES TO STOP THE DARTING. ALL ELSE IS GREAT , THE ONLY WAY TO GO.

IT'S ONLY A NICKEL MORE TO GO 1ST CLASS!

;)! COMBAT

17mpg on first tank, 20mpg on second tank, 21 on third tank. After it had the "magic" 500mi break-in I let it rip and got 17 mpg abusing the "loud" handle. I guessing it will get better after 1500 mi. But what the hay, this sled has a fun factor off the scale.

ran with an rx1 and same exact mileage, he had 1 bar left and i had 3 when we pulled them into the trailer. he gets about 15mpg on a good day, and i get about 17 on a good day. i have 1690 mi on

further update on a 700 mi trip with 2 05 RX-1s and an 04 Warrior I got between 15.6 and 17.3
I only averaged between 6-10% better than the 4 cylinder sleds

rs vector fuel mileage

First long day, sled only had 200 mls. Good trails cold temps, from 35 to 65 mph Fill up at end of ride, WOW 20 mpg.
Had the hot lite come on when going slow thru town. Dealer said bad thermostat and from the factory with 100% pure antifreeze. Waiting for snow to return to see if everything ok.

First trip with the sled, put about 350mi on it, was pretty consistant 16.6MPG. 300mi, 18gal.

All over the place with the throttle and speed. Some groomed twisties, some wide open...
