Can I get away with running 21/48 gears with a 90 link chain, or will it be too long?
Thanks
Thanks

After review, it does look wrong... too much adjuster angle. I put the stock gears back in. 21/49

Some rtx le with the 1.7 sno x track had 21 49 gears, not good for top end, but 0-70 was in a couple heart beats

I managed to pull 98 MPH with the 21/49 gears and it gets there very quickly. I'm kinda ok with that... because I'm out of money.

Right! Tell us more. Drivers 9t?
My sled had the rev limiter adjusted from Yamaha's race team. It was a X-country race sled initially. When it was being raced, it had no reverse and 22/48 gears. I was told it did 105 MPH pretty reliably... I have made some minor changes to the clutch set-up to make it a little more trail friendly and put the reverse back in which necessitated using the stock gears again (can't afford new ones right now)
This is a shot of it below winning the 2015 WOODY'S I-500 CLASS - FACTORY STOCK 600, riden by Cale Anseeuw #931. https://usxcracing.com/index.php/results/standings/2015-year-end-class-champs
Another action shot of him below... If I ever look half as cool as him riding it... I'll be pretty happy!
