I don't run a Gems anymore, but if memory serves me correctly, you should be taping into the vacuum ports on your throttle bodies, and NOT your boost plenum anyway, which would be both boost/vacuum.
If I'm wrong on this one, someone chime in and correct me because it's been a while since I've played with a Gems controller, but I don't think the Gems controller will remove fuel from the oem tables? I'm pretty sure it gets its rpm signal from the injector signals anyway, and with that being said, I don't think you can use the vacuum signal to make it leaner than stock. Is that what you're asking about?
