Can you just get the usb cable that hooks up to the back of this box and use a program to adjust your maps. Instead of buying the mcx display box? I mean the dealers can do it. Whats stopping us? All I should need is the cable and a program. What do you think?

So no one has maped a mcx box just using a computer. It can be done, its just a matter of finding the software and the usb/mcx plug. Has anyone had and experience doing this? Id love to be able to adjust my maps with out sending it out or buying the mcx display.

It can probably be done, but I would not recommend tuning your sled without datalogging to tell you what's going on

There is a port on the back of my mcx box. It must be used to upload and download fuel mappings.
Its only for mild alterations and loading tried and tested mappings. Don't worry about it.
Someone must know how to pull the file off the box......anyone
