Gotta brag about my wife here for a moment. We are in West Yellowstone for my dream vacation, and my wife is the best. She loves sledding and has been really making this the best winter vacation ever. We had a blast digging her phazer mtn lite out of the snow over and over. I buried it a few times after trying to get back up to where she had gotten. She has me by more lbs. than I want to count. What a trip so far. Hope a few of you guys are as lucky, to have a better half that enjoys the sport with you.

I was out there around Christmas time. Are they still getting pounded with snow? We stayed at the Gray Wolf. Where are you guys staying? I was surprised that there was hardly anyone out there and they had nearly record snowfall for the time. Enjoy it out there and have fun!!

It's awesome to have a Wife who loves sledding as much as we do. My Wife has been riding with Me since she was 15 years old. Thats 33 years ago and she loves it as much today as she did back then. We go on a big trip every year and she usually plans it with Me. Last year we did a 1600 mile trip in Northern Ontario. There were eight of us, Me My Wife and six guys. The best part is My Wife knows how far to the next gas stop and everything else. She will tell you how many miles and how long it will take. She loves doing that stuff and everybody looks to her to coordinate all the days plans while we are touring. I don't even know if I would still ride if she didn't ride with Me.

We are actually at the Best Western Desert Inn. Still record snow fall and plenty of fresh powder and untouched areas. We are kinda used to alot of snow, coming from the North Cascades, but it is nice to see some different scenery and all the wild life. We saw a black wolf on the trail today.
We like the best western, but would look at a few other places for next time. If snow was low, we might want to be a little closer to the trail heads. With all this snow, you just drive sleds all over town, but if it were a bad winter, that might not happen as easily.
Very few people here right now, and the ones that ar coming into town are almost all just in the park as first time riders. Or they are here with a race team. Pretty quiet!!!

I don't get why there isn't anyone there, Vmax4. That town is a lot more fun when there are a lot of people there. The D & M has the best breakfast, in my opinion, Gusher has the best steak sandwich, Wild West the best pizza, and the Three Bears the best hot roast beef sandwich (I had to go there twice while I was there). I've been going there for the past 13 years and still love it. Just when I would think I've found all the play areas I stumble across more. That combined with how everyone is so helpful and friendly makes me keep coming back!! You two have fun out there! I'm JEALOUS!!!!
