My club in Millinocket Maine HAS to groom ski trails as part of their contract. They don't get paid & the skiers don't help costs at all. We are very polite to them & i've even given one a ride, but their is tension between the 2 groups. If they start a ruckus over our sport, they can do some damage.
That's why i say do what you can to help. Even if it costs you a belt...

The CC drags are super light and I think the Vector would do it just fine with no risk. I have pulled a few 'cabooses' with kids around at slow speeds with out any issues for years on many different sleds. ( Apex, Vmax 700, Venture GT and even some last year with the Viper.)
Agree with Cannondale and Steve.

That's what I'm thinking, believe it or not, I think they are offering to pay me to do it! I literally live across the street from the park, and I like the idea of helping out. I ride a mountain bike, a road bike, I hunt, fish, including ice-fishing, just about every hobby known to man. I can see divisions in the separate groups and think this could be a bit of an olive branch. It's all about land access and getting along! My club in Millinocket Maine HAS to groom ski trails as part of their contract. They don't get paid & the skiers don't help costs at all. Thanks for the ideas guys, I'll see how this plays out.

They may PAY you to groom the trail, which will help relations with skiers, possibly help keep the trails open & in good shape for other activities like hiking & biking. NO BRAINER, i'll even send some belts. Actually i have a stack of good used 8DN belts that you're welcome to have. I like this OLIVE BRANCH thing you got going. PM me if you want some belts. I'll ship them to you. I also have a softer Ultimax.
BTW: Using the "olive branch" quote is very educated of you. You may be too smart for me &/or this website. LOL
