Well just went out and bought a 2017 Sidewinder LTX-LE . Figured it was Time to start another build. This one will be quite a bit different and easier than some of my past boosted sled projects. Coming off of boosted Apex models, and boosted Nytros, plus a couple rides with engine mods this will be easier in my opinion. Also a lot less money. I've already owned a cat ZR8000 with the Fox 2.0 shocks on front and back. So getting to go back to this suspension will be a great thing for my bad back.....
I've already been in touch with Ben from Turbo Dynamics to hop up the Winder a bit more (GREAT Help FYI). Along with contacting Monster performance to dial in the Fox shocks for me. Also with a bunch of other goodies to get put on before my next trip by my dealer. It will be good to feel the torque and pull of the boost again.
I'm kind of glad I waited. It gave time for the companies like Turbo dynamics, etc. to dial in their products more. It gave me time to read more on the upgrades, and changes that I want to do. It also let some of the prices on Units drop cause of the piss poor winters we have been having. Along with a little time of asking myself do I need 260+HP again after my accident. Wondering isn't a 600 or 800 enough for what we do? Then a couple years later I slapped myself out of it and said "that's not you!" lol. So here I am back in the saddle again.
Now if we could get some more snow in the Midwest it would be great
Pictures to come.......
