Handguards for Apex/Attak

Does anyone know if the handguards used on the Nytro will work on the Apex/Attak without modification? I can't remember if the bars were the same on the Nytro or not?

I think it will be a tight fit having hand guards on the Apex. If you turn the bars all the way to one side on the Apex, the handlebar fits into the groove part of the windshield. Might work if the guards are tilted upwards a bit though. I’ll know soon enough.

I posted pics of the handgaurds installed on my Attak, under the marshmallow seat topic in this thread. I moved the barsback a slight, and they will work, but rub the windshield on sharp turns. They look good tho. I plan on getting a chrome clamshell from another member.

Do you think I will be able to install handguards and a mountain strap? I'm not worried about the windshield because I'm putting the low blue chrome shield on. I shouldn't have a problem clearing that.

I wouldn't see a problems with it 2BLUE4U, cause the mountings are hidden underneath the brake reservoir, and next to the throttle. I can stand on mine straight up, and not have any hand clearance problems.
