Handle Bar risers

Has anyone raised the handle bars on their phazer? If so, please advise how you went about it. I'd like to raise mine by about three inches. It looks as though I'd have to extend both my throttle cable and brake cable. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

i would recomend getting new bars to if your planing on riding agressivly becuase mine bent pretty fast... and you should be able to get abit of of extra rise without extending anything... theres alot of ties that you can cut and that should give you a little room to work with...

i put different bar on that give my like two more inches and had to add throttle extension

I have a 2" ROX riser on my '07 Phazer Mountain Lite with no problem. Re-route the throttle cable and I was fine.
