i have the bdx jackshaft upgrade for my 15 viper to get ride of lock-in collar design. Wondering if anyone else has done so?
Looks like no one has. Got pics of it?

If i remember correctly, that shaft eliminates reverse, if that is correct, i dont think many guys would be willing to try it.

I don’t have the picture currently but yes you are correct it does eliminate reverse but also eliminates the locking collar for about 1/2 the price of the 16 jack shaft

I just ordered a 16 jack shaft from my dealer which was $150ish Canadian and I see the BDX shaft is on sale for $129.95 American...how do you figure 1/2 price?

I believe I was quoted 379 I think. I didn’t write it down tho to compare but I remember the bdx was less then half. Bdx also came with one bearing just needed to order the othe other side.

Your quote was probably for the complete assembly not just the shaft...sorry pic is blurry...shaft is 156.74...complete is 521.73 (shaft, bearing, clips and clutch side frame)...My buddy and I are both upgrading to 16 shafts...too old to delete reverse though lol
