How did Yamaha fair at the haydays. It looks like Cat took the crown this year.

Looks like yamaha mopped up in the vintage classes at least :dunno:

So why is the sled entry that Brett Huff rode blank in the Out Law Pro Mod? He is the one broke into the 3's. Notice how he was almost half a second behind after 60 feet but managed but finished 30 mph faster at the finish line. Now that is hauling a**.

Would love to see some pics of racing from the event!

What about Pat Hauck and the Vmax 800? It´s vintage LOL

IMP STK 800 R/T 60 FT ET MPH
PAT HAUCK YAM 542 1.34 5.05 97
CRAIG MARCHBANK SKI 550 1.26 5.06 95
MATT LEMIRE ACT 569 1.31 5.16 95

Matt the 2nd place guy blew a beldt 100 ft before the finish line that's why the 30 mph difference.
That sled also runs in the 3's and set a hp record on dynotech jims dyno.

I watched the race that artic cat red lighted with a 77r/t the nytro was strong but it was raining and the track was wet. There was a heavy 15 min downpour just minutes before they staged. He may have a little bit more left in that sled.

It's incredible, I have seen a lot of outlaw class sleds run with RX turbo motors that couldn't break 125 in 500 feet but this is a basic stock chasis nytro. 3 weeks ago at the outlaw drags in Zimmerman there was one turbo rx-1 with the racing tunnel and it only did 124 in 500 ft. I guess that little 3 cylinder is capable of awsome stuff.

The reason you don't see more Yammis in the results is because they were outnumbered at least 5 to 1 by other sleds.

I was going to run but could not get stuff together in time nor could dedicate 2 full days to it that weekend.

The OSP sled isn't a stock chassis OR a 3 cyl. It is wicked fast though!!

Yamaha's did well in the stock classes as usual.

There where 2 Nytro's in the Finals of Stock D and 3 Apexes in Stock C. Unfortunatly Guy Breton's Rev was faster then the Nytros and won Stk C on reaction time (it was really tough for us because we beat that sled in previous weekends and in the previous heat!!).

There was also an RX that made the finals in Improved 700 and Pat Hauck won Imp 800 on his V4.

There were TONS of Yamahas in the semi pro classes too.

There were many yamahas there on both days...ya just gotta watch the races lol.

Here's acouple of pix.

What motor are they running in the Nytro chasis? And the tunnel and front end appear to be very similar to a stock Nytro compared to the outlaws with the low profile drag tunnels with laydown seat.

It's just nytro body work wrapped around thier custom tube chassis with a 4cyl and a GIANT turbo. Best running/tuned turbo sled I've ever heard.
