Headphones inside of an open faced helmet..

I know I read a topic on people who listen to music when they ride and I want to get into this. I've tried using actual ear buds but they are annoying and anything that sticks too far out of the ear actually kind of hurts. What is a headphone that you use that is comfortable and you can actually hear? Post any links to information that is available if you could, thanks!

I play my Ipod thru a communicator. The low profile communicator speakers should work. I plan to try this setup in my new open face HJC helmet this year. G.B.

Yes, the trail Jamz comes as a kit which includes the speakers and an mp3 player all in a smple to use carrying pouch with an external volume control. It's a pretty cool set up! Get a hold of Rock and he can give you a lot more info.! He is a great guy to deal with and super friendly!

You sure can!

The In-helmet speakers eliminate the problems/irritations with earbuds.
You still have the issues with cords and charging, but if you are happy with that set-up, it works for me!

General Info:
Most normal communicator speakers have a relatively narrow frequency response range (They don't need much range for voice).
Good Audio requires quite a bit wider frequency response range.
Higher quality Audio speakers make the communicator set-up sound a WHOLE lot better.

Big ear is what my dad used last ear, its an really ear plugs with headphones built in, custom made to your ear. you would need to find some one that does that but there great don't hurt but also only really hear the music. are a bit pricey but are great best item i got this year for motorcycle and soon sled
