Heat exchanger

ORRRRRRRR, go with a Apex radiator with it's fan. Connect fan
on headlight relay,( full time)!. More efficient and lighter :moon: ...

talk yo your dealer. Yamaha had a program where you can get a rear exchanger at a reduced price if your Rx-1 had cooling issues. He should be able to help you. Have to trim the tunnel to get out old tube. As for the radiator, it is not a simple thrown in thing. I have done it & cutting the plastic by the foot well to fit the fan is tough to get looking right. You also have to modify your reverse linkage (if you have it) I bought an automotive relay that turns fan on at 165 degrees & back off at 140 degrees. It can be done. ;)!
