Thanks Rebmo! Can you see what color the wires are at the plug and switch? Looks like stockers with heater it's a whole harness. Will try and figure out where it draws power from if wiring diagrams show it.

One is red, one black and one red/green/blue from the harness to the seat connector. The switch wires are all black shrink insulation as far as I can see. The switch wire connenector is keyed so no color references for the switch. I'm all shut down tonight, but I can look for switch harness connection clues Saturday and I'll post if I can find where the switch connector comes from.

I take it the sleds that did not come with seat heaters don't have unused connectors coming off the harness for the seat heater and switch?

No unused connectors by battery.

Any lumps in the harness? sometimes they bury them in wrap? My old BMW had connectors for an alarm system buried all over that I dug out to do the install. Just throwing that out there in case they are there. That's a pretty big connector to bury though.

I found these pictures of the add on heated seat and it looks like they are running the power to what accessory plug is by the chain case

Nothing but tomorrow I will look again and take a pic. Compare it to your pics. ThanksAny lumps in the harness? sometimes they bury them in wrap? Sure does unless there is another one hidden somewhere.View attachment 110700View attachment 110701View attachment 110702

So I got my kit installed. Wasn't all that difficult. I can confirm that the plug by the chain case is for the heated seat. I've attached pictures. Although there was plenty of wire to run everything inside the engine bay and back down the top of the gas tank, I didn't like how close the wire would get to the exhaust heat shield. Therefore I decided to run them up the side of the tank under the trim cover. The kit comes with a template (except mine was missing) to cut out the switch. This was by far the hardest part especially since I had to make my own template. I just used a drill bit and execto blade to cut out the switches. The second switch was cut out by turning the template upside down and is for my under-glow lights. All in all, it wasn't too hard of a task.

I am trying to troubleshoot why my heated seat does not work. Can anybody tell me how to access the electrical drawings on this site?
