Hi , i need to no
in my cam , the setting when i buy it was 6-1 ,
i put every thing in part , clean and re assembly , and put the ajustement at 3-3 ( like suppose to be )
so my RPM drop 300rpm , is it normal ??
it that mean , more tension we put in the cam , more rpm we got ?
Thank and excuse my English i am french , but i try
Yamaha RTX 2006, clush kit Drag and fly,
i love it so far

Yes, this is normal. Increasing the spring tension will increase the shifting rpm and cause the rpm to increase.
You should note that the original specifications for secondary spring tension are only applicable to stock clutching. Because your clutching is not stock, it is necessary to make adjustments for optimal performance.
Generally speaking, you select your helix (what you call the "cam"), spring, and tension in order to control the amount of squeeze on the belt, and the shift pattern. When the secondary is correct, you adjust engine speed and engagement by changing primary clutch weights and rollers.

At firts , before i put the clush kit,,,,,,,,,,,,,cluch stock , helix 6-1, the RPM was 10,500 and stay there
after i put the kit clush drag and fly , never touch the helix ( 6-1) and the rpm was 10900 to 11,100, depend of the condition,
I want make some modify to the clush for put the rpm down , but before i decide to clean the helix and put back the spring to 3-3 , last night i try couple run and the RPM go down to 10200 to 10500 rpm , every thinks look good but i was alone so this week end i will try whit my friend if i lose some or gain something
Whit the good , start set up Tork give me , first run i make whit my friend i take 3 snow in front of im and stay there , but my rpm was a bit to hi, so now maybe thats gone be better ??
the peak power ,,,,10400 - 10600,,???
Thanks

That engine should make peak power at about 10300 rpm, so aim it to 10200-10500.
