I want to improve the clutching on my ApexER. I'm more concerned with hole shots and corner to corner not top end. Anyone tried Ulmer's Stage II? How about a roller for the Secondary?

There is no kit out there preforms,, what your describing like the Proline Kit... I had one . Kicked everyone's #*$&@ , stock... Goodwinn, Ulmers,,Hauck's,,including the Turbo's.660 to 1000ft with 168 picks, better hang on.Key is hook up and proper scratch pattern, lota Hp,torque going to that track... I sold my sled,,,,,,, and the Kit to Sledfreak.

The Proline kit will do what you want, but like Bigwin said, you will need alot of traction to see it really perform.

Give us a call, holeshot and corner to corner is where it's at. If you're looking for super aggressive setup say so and we can bump up the engagement rpm and make it even snappier, but hope you have the traction to go with it!! 605-387-2833

I have 168 megabites, what else can I do to improve traction?

No, you could go 192, then Drop in a Proline Clutch kit and change the lower gear to a 40 or the upper to a 23. The upper is the cheaper root or gear like the new 07's which is 22/38, which is said to enahnce a point and shoot corner to corner accleration, much what you are looking for.

Get rid of the megabites,if you are looking for good hook up ,go get 73 woody double backer plates, the flat ones not angled ones and install woody goldiggers, and drop your top gear down one tooth to the 23 wow what a difference, you will like it,and i have allens set up in mine and it rocks,i can lay down 6-8 lengths on my boys rtx and keep on pulling.

I would not run the 22 top gear on any apex,it would gear you down to low,its hard enough to hook the darn things up with the 24 stock and mine now has the 23 and it rips like crazy thru the trails..

The 07 RTX has a 22/38 gear for a better point and shoot for enhanced corner to corner acceleration "quoted from Viper34". He has enough traction, and it will handle the power. Remember he does not care about top end.
