The 2007 Apex RTX also has a rear skid which gives more transfer than the monoshock! If you were to run a 22 tooth gear in a 2006 Apex RTX you would need 192+ studs to hook it up. The 23 is a nice overall gain without any loss on top end in most conditions. You can not compare the 22 tooth gear in the 2007 RTX because it has a rear skid that transfers better overall.
