Here's an update after two seasons and over 7000 miles:
I've been running the Evo Stage 3 tune, TD SQ muffler and the Thunder clutch kit.
I ride a lot of high mile weekends and trips so reliability was important.
I bought a set of Fox QS3R's for the front and love them.
I changed my belt after every 1800 miles and it never blew a belt.
As far as maintenance I had to change the track at the beginning of the season and I went with the Cobra 1.6 so we changed the chain and gears after 3700 miles while we were in there. I've never changed any bearings. The sled has been very reliable. The only issue right now is the rear suspension clunks over deep moguls only when I'm going very slow and the suspension is pivoting back and forth. Any ideas? I've looked carefully at it and really can't find anything loose. If I go fast there's no clunking whatsoever.
I can't seem to keep a track on it either. I keep losing lugs on the outside belts. I'm not sure if it's from the power or ice build up in the tunnel. I think the Cobra being 1 ply didn't help either.
It still performs great and I enjoy driving it. I've got a lot of flak from my Doo and Polaris riding buddies about my YamaCat but they've had more problems than me and when I let them drive it they grin from ear to ear. On the lake it's not even a race against those 800's and 850's. I know there's a lot of posts with guys having problems but I haven't really had them and I ride a lot.

What model do you have? Will help us to disgnose clunk better if we know the model...129,137, 141?

137 LTX with stock shocks in the back. This is not a rattle either. Major clunking but only at very slow speed on deep moguls.

Also the cross shaft on center shock that attaches to trail... Shock mount can oval out...

The lugs are most likely from ice.. And like you've said.. Single ply didn't help

How fast do you run? Lots of high speed in triple digits? Its just a theory but I have never trusted single ply tracks in any of my boosted yammies. I would love to see some technical data from camso on their design criteria. Thanks for posting that is great news and evidence yammie is helping cat get better.

Can you give me more info on your track? I am thinking of going with that one as well, and have the same sled. 95% trail, 5% off trail, just playing with the kids. Does this track work well on trail?

We had a tough year over here in New England. Most of the time it was hardpack or icy on the trails. In those conditions the track was not good. I had to run scratchers all the time. When it was loose and sloppy the track worked well. I only trail ride. I thought the track was loud and it reduced my top end speed. I'm going back to the 1.25" with studs. I also lost some lugs on the outside belts so it didn't hold up too well for me.

I forgot to mention I thought the braking was better when the conditions were loose with this track, though.

My last ride of the season I experienced the same clunking noise at slow speeds. Very annoying! I also blew a shock seal on my right front this season too. 2017 LTX-DX 2700 miles. Have not had a chance to dig into the sled yet.

I have had real good luck with 1.25 and studs for hard pack icy trails as well I am 99% trails.
