How big of a job is it to remove sub-frame?

I want to try them out on my MTX to make it handle better. I do lots of lake riding. I have a camp on a lake that is 40 miles long and ride bush trails lake to lake, break trail etc. The sled can be scary at times and I have flipped in on it's side due to the high CofG. When I read about the positive results on the XTX, I thought I would try it out on the MTX.

only cost me 80 bucks to get my frame Pcoated. guess you need to find a good coater to deal with and promise him more work and they give you a deal..... all my friends get thier stuff coated there now and he thanks me for the business every time i go in. Getting the a-arms and spindles coated on my dads apex right now for 100 bucks. I would have no problem with painting my frame, but the coating just looks sooo good and is way stronger than paint.

Local pcoater who does it on the side charged me $180 to do my a-arms and spindles for my RXM and it will cost the same for my Nytro. So, I am afraid to ask what the sub-frame would go for. He is the only powdercoater in town. Shipping somewhere else is not economical either. I will bring it to him to see what he says...thanks again Ragin...don't post any more pics!

yea its a place right around my house in a town called big bend aroung 5 miles from my house. Everytime i drop parts off i end up being there for an hour shooting the #*$&@ with the owner or helpin him if he needs a hand with something quick, lol. i guess i work a little to get some good prices...

powdercoating is awesome. I got my subframe, custom bumper, a-arms, and tie rods sandblasted and coated for $125. awesome deal considering how tough powdercoat is. taking everything was worth the work. sled looks 10x better now.

Here's the link to Diamond S subframes. http://www.diamond-smfg.com/Chassis.html

Cromoly, 6 lbs lighter than stock and $1,500 cheap. They are the only guys I am aware of that make aftermarket subframes.

OTM

For that price get 2 :drink:

Yeah,

Wicked expensive. But Yami already makes a cro-moly front end as part of the Nytro "Race" front end ....

Just $8000 for the kit! :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:
