Im sorry im definately a noob to this forum but i figure this is the best place to get my info on how to set up my carbs for boost. Ive tried the search feture but it lead me to 5000 threads and none on the first 5 pages healped me. The carbs are from a RX1. If anybody can help me by either pointing me in the right direction or telling me what to do that would be awesome!

Well im not going to be using a kit from anywhere in the sense that im actually planning on doing this to a carb swap i did on a car. So what all is involved on the carbs?

Your putting RX1's carbs on a car? Or did I miss something? Any rate, stm makes alu caps instead of the plastic ones that leak. There not really cheap, but seem to fix the issue. Then mpi makes or has somebody make alu T's that go between the carbs, instead of the plastic T's. There's have o-rings. If its in a sled, all the turbo kits have an alu flange that goes on the inlet side of the carb to make it a std 2" hose.

Yeah for now im getting it going N/A but im really wanting to turbo it. Im not planning on running more than 8-10psi through it because of the cr my motor is at but heres a couple of pics. Its not complete yet and im going to make a better intake mani here in a month or so.

damn haha that is a wild idea but i think you are opening up a can of worms and maybe alot of head ache

Looks like a VW motor. Why those carbs? there is alot of other turbo options if your going that route.

The reason im using these carbs is there close to what i need spaicng wise on the outside and theyve been used before. Not to mention easy to get a hold of at a decent price. Like poor mans ITBs and now i dont need a standalone fuel injection. So if this works i might end up with maybe 1000 to 1500 compared to 3-4k. Now ive found one other car that used these carbs and ran boost to them. As for headache i literaly shouldnt have any problems at all with my motr wich is indeed a VW motor and its old enough that i really dont have a computer to piss off by changing out the air fuel delivery method. Now for the reason im going to turbo it.....Obviously for more power but im only shooting for around 200 with around the same torque numbers.

It doesn't look like your carbs are going to be anywhere close to level.

I think the person who listed the carbs lied to me to be honest they look more like R1 carbs and ive been told that a couple times now. Ive also been told the R1 carbs are almost identical except float angles and coolent lines. The R1 carbs are supposed to be at an angle.

you need to presurize fuel boal vent and cv slide vent. fuel presure need to be 3-4 psi more then boast I am running vector carb on turbo nissan ka24e

I have ran 18 to 20lbs thru my carbs with no issues that I know of. There is other people out there running more boost than me. Like I said before, look for some billet carb caps & the alu T's that are between the carbs. You will need the restricted orfice
