I have seen a SRX do the speeds of 125MPH with perfect weather, guys name was Stan Bullett he always ran at Darryls track in North Bay that Claude and nikki now run ,but thats the only one ive seen run those speeds! would be nice to get up there and get some miles on the RTX snowing good here in Huntsville i think its time to go to fish hatchery road in North Bay im sure there will be guys running there this weekend putting miles on

No snow pat just running the lakes i have a buddy running an rx1 turbo with an 1 1/4 ripsaw on it running it out of gear at 135mph. think he is going to gear up. Muskoka apex the lakes are open in North Bay was talking to a buddy tonight he said there is no one running to his knowledge. if the weather stays like this pat maybe a couple of us will take a run down next weekend.

What is your buddy running for gearing, stock 24/38 ?

I can honestly say that Andy and Victor know SRXs probably better than anyone. Andy told me one little trick last year and I gained about 5 miles an hour on my SRX. Its all about the set-up and believe me theres a ton of mph to be gained in the suspension. Andy has been tuning these things since 98 and he's had every one including the 600s. He beat the factory backed drag racers in Quebec so bad that Yamaha wanted him to race for them but he said it was more fun beating the guys with all the factory support. We'll put it this way and powervalve can back me up, when Andy talks you listen!

I have been hearing about 128's 129's 130mph on SRX coming out of Liskeard for years. If it is the same Andy M. I am thinking of. I had a MSRX clutched by him and it smoked everything at the drags in my area. Chuck C. was another guy who did 129 on his SRX.

Actually Chuckie told me he ran 132 on Andys SRX a few years ago. No BS the fastest SRXs anywhere come out of that area. I'm talking stock SRXs for the record not full improvers.

That's what I'm running and figured I had a little more in it yet. If he does gear up some more, let me know how he makes out. I was even thinking of trying to gear back down to see if I can bring my ET's down with the same amount of speed at the top end.

25-38 gearing is good for 138-139 mph.
