How many miles do you have on your RX?

1503mi ~ was a drag sled for Revolutions in Grand Forks 03', 04' 408mi when i got in Jan 06' and sadly enough only 5 miles this season - but fresh out of the shop so I need to change that!

warrior

Was wondering if you guys could give me the most common problems on these machines like other than sliders and bearings. Was on the Apex\Attak side of four stroke and the y-pipes seem to be a very common issue and expensive at that.

the apex and rx-1 have similar parts.. and similar problems..

Broken W-arms in the rear suspension, worn suspension bushings, bearings, Exhaust shields rattle, stearing colum bushing wear out,

9000 miles on a 04. Runs good. Uses a little more oil than I care too. Replaced most all drive bearings and seals.

Does anybody know how the carbed sleds compair to injected? I am talking performance (side by side). I have road the injected and noticed a great difference in throtle responce. I have done some clutching and the injected has had nothing done to it and they seem very similar. Has my clutching done that much? I have side by side along others that have had alot done to them and they got me by 1-2 lenghts. Do I have any future or am I :exc: just not going to make it without alot more money than just starting over with injection?

My brother has my old 04 Rx-warrior and i have a 06 apex gt..

from a dead stop,i will destroy him in holeshot.. but from a roll on its almost dead even to the top..

His sled isnt stock, it has the ECP kit .. My sled only has gearing and white secondary spring..

You do notice the throttle reponse on the apex though.. way touchier..

i happed to be in a customer's garage and notice he had something under a Yamaha tarp( in the fall) i asked him what you hidding? well it was a 2004 RX1 with 400 miles, I asked him want to sell it, said nah one day i might get back into sledding LOL

12,000 almost trouble free on 03 RX-ER-LE, had new jackshaft bearing at 8500 (waaranty) per service record, nothing else but hyfax, battery and scags

13,900 km and still running strong minimal oil usage have replaced drive bearings and heat exchanger twice but that was from thrown studs replaced track with ice ripper xt which fixed that issue

my 05 just hit 6700 miles. Runs fantastic, but I dod notice a popping sound this last trip. might need exhaust doughnuts. Have not peeked at it yet. Other than that...flawless running sled!
