58 and riding since maybe 8 or 10 years old. Rode a 63 Polaris then a 65 Polaris Colt. Then a 68 Rustler. Husky's where cool. Snow cruiser was just to damn heavy. Loved the Rupp Wild One! Johnson's 650 was fast. Snow twisters where fast. crapped my self on a 800 Blizzard. Artic Cats 4 cylinder free air King cat was the coolest sounding sled in the day and made your ears bleed. Nothing runs like a Deere. Snow hawks where ugly and Scorpions where not. Sno Jets where fast even the single cylinders. Life was more interesting when there was 40 or more sled manufactures.
There is a reason I have so many aches and pains and most start way back then.

90 srv 540 dads
00 sxr 700 dads
06 apex 170 hp mine
14 viper hurricane turbo mine just built last week
i started on my dads sleds but my son will have to start on something smaller dont think the turbo viper will be a good first sled. growing the JD line but that is for the farm. my largest tractor is 220 hp and the viper is 190 hp doesnt seem right.

First sled was a 1967 Ski Doo Olympic 335E single lunger - used for about 15 years. It wasn't nearly the best sled I've owned but I have probably had the best memories from that time.

I think I have had them all but back on Yamaha's since 2006 when I bought my 2005 Rx1 that I am still on. Made the mistake of riding a Viper with a Push turbo a week ago. What a blast, that sled is a beast and I want one bad!
Were you at Pat's last saturday? I was there with the XTX and my buddy on my rush pro r 800

Hated the 2 ski doo's the most. Miss the SRX every single time I have hit a throttle since I sold it. And the '99 poo was far and away the most reliable sled.

I'm 41. First sled was a 1972 gp433b purchased in 1980. No real suspension just boogie wheels. Best sled was a97 vmax 700 bought new. Only owned yamahas. Just ordered my sixth new sled, been riding for 34 years and and still like a kid in a candy store when it comes to sleds.

Turned 37 in January. Started on a Polaris xcr, went to ski doo for a few years. First new sled was a 03 Rev 600ho. After two rebuilds in 2800 miles I had enough. Lost my #*$&@ and traded it on a 06 Fusion 700, was a great Sled that I just sold a month or so ago. Bought my first Yamaha in January 09, a 09 Nytro rtx. Sold that to my brother in law and it is still sitting in my back yard actually. Ordered a new Viper rtx last spring. Got a late start but have put 900 miles on it since the first week of February. Love it.
