Remember, those numbers on the stock muffler are with the header installed.

From what I have read and Dave post says it’s all stock muffler and pipe.he makes more power using header and stock muffler.correct me if I am wrong but I will see him at Toronto snowmobile show because I’m interested in this set up.Remember, those numbers on the stock muffler are with the header installed.
This is what i took from the All New Hurricane Stock Muffler Bundle
Winterwolf asked;
"Dave, Do you need your new header along with the stock muffler?
Or is it complete stock (stock header and stock muffler) for these stock muffler flashes?"
To which Dave responded;
"this is the stock header and muffler bundle."
I would like some answers on this as well since i own the trail muffler tune bundle.

I assume there must be a throttle response difference between stock muffler and any other 2.5" design. I know when I added my CAI, my throttle response become extra extra crisp. I just cannot see a stock muffler having this, and likely a CAI will not "help'' a stocker nearly as much as it did my 2.5".
That being said, I would never have thought Dave could have such sweet dyno numbers on stock muffler flashes...so who knows really. I would love to get a SM flashed sled side by side to mine, and swap back and forth to get a true feel of throttle response.
Its odd that the total PSI looks to be similar as where I know my data-logs show mine at.....

I spoke to Dave on the phone, and Dave said that his SM Flashes use stock header and stock muffler..it’s completely stock exhaust.
He also said that they tested and tested and expected the header to turn cherry Red with the SM Flashes and they absolutely never did.
He was super impressed he said with the incredible power they were able to get with the Stock Muffler and header on the Winder with these new SM Flashes.
