Makes sense, less restrictive and less turbulence air a few more hp. Hmmm

Maybe I'm wrong. I'd have said the same if it was from any of the other shops. The 998 money train is coming to an end so I see this as another opportunity to suck some cash out of us. If it's that "restrictive" why has it taken 9 years of this platform to release this.Anybody who has delt with Dave would never say this. End of story!!
Just my 2 cents.

Huh?!?! Lol...this is Dave's supplemental way of giving you just that.
Earthling left a diagram. You basically cut appx five inches off the part 43. And replace it with Dave's new and improved turbo tube outlet.
To my knowledge when the factory inlet tube meets the turbo inlet you have like a 2 to 3mm step at the seal, inside the tube
I'm sure all of us agree that seal lip could easily cause turbulence. Thus the reason we port match/gasket match all of our intake & exhaust parts, It's really no big speed secret.
I say kudos to Dave for even wanting to bring this miniscule dollar amount part to market.
Think about it in terms of gross revenue in running a successful business. This part isn't going to keep him fed. Wouldn't even help to pay for the toilets when they're being flushed.
5/10 ponies plausible?!?! It sure can't hurt you.
I would rather have a tube like the aftermarket intercooler charge tubes right from cold air filter to turbo. One piece.
less pieces to loosen up and fall apart throughout the winter.

Same reason it took 8yrs to perfect the Knock out kit. Hahahaha....sorry had to.Maybe I'm wrong. I'd have said the same if it was from any of the other shops. Agree with all that you say DMC...it's all coming to an end.
But I look at things like this, if I'm the dummy that does the five things no one thinks are worth it, and I show up with a faster sled then X, well...that's the way it goes.
I refuse to run a header/tune which is what 10hp over stock manifold and costs $1,000 dollars. What do I need to do to make up for it???

Tim, I completely agree. But at what $300??? Ugh.I would rather have a tube like the aftermarket intercooler charge tubes right from cold air filter to turbo. One piece.

We'll see how much it costs when precision does it. Cuz they will do a full replacement tube.
Joe, the header tune is night and day over stock tune. Don't be mistaken on that one

I doubt you’ll see anyone build a full tube . Most pro mods will remount the turbo to eliminate the stock tube to gain every possible bit of hp.
The stock turbo has been pushed over 400 hp on race fuel , I don’t think your going to see much more development

I'm going to order one for a 2025 SRX build I have coming up. I will post when I try it on our chassis dyno to see if there's any difference.

1) extra heat & fitment issues bother meJoe, the header tune is night and day over stock tune. Don't be mistaken on that one
2) stainless steel mesh bellow doesn't work well with high temperature/turbo, or so I've read?!?!
3) the rigid bellows had durability issues.
4) just a bar hopper, I'll never run with the big dogs.
Ok, I'll wait to install till I get some outside positive reinforcement. Lol.I'm going to order one for a 2025 SRX build I have coming up. I will post when I try it on our chassis dyno to see if there's any difference.
