Good ole fashion sucker punch!!Keep an eye on the coolant hose and hose clamp that runs over the top of it. You may have to clearance it so it doesn’t interfere and rub against it. I used a heat gun and a piece of pipe to dent it to clear this area

Made a clamp guide to cut stock intake. Am I correct in assuming the cut line from bov inlet is 1.25"?
Also, Redline1 claims the coolant hose clamp above intake has the ability to rub thru the top of Hurricane intake. There's zero gap, Definitely real tight. Surprised no one else noticed this and said something.

Weird. I guess cut it at 1 5/8 and if it’s too long shorten to 1.25 lol

Here's the whole sheet I've had. It's pretty old and wanted to verify any changes with you guys.Weird. I guess cut it at 1 5/8 and if it’s too long shorten to 1.25 lol
Mine didn't come with any instructions or glue. Lined it up and and cut. Wouldn't want to have anything as far as sealant/glue inside the tube that could work loose and make it's way into the intake.

Hopefully we can come to some consensus on a measurement. Very odd, two different instructions. Come on, Dave!! LolMine didn't come with any instructions or glue. Lined it up and and cut. Here’s a pic of where I cut mine. This is the discarded part. Note the clearance depression molded into the stock tube for that coolant hose. The hurricane piece doesn’t have that relief and that’s where it makes contact
If there is any confusion I just inserted the tube into the flange at the turbo end as tight as it would go (one could use a little heat), after measuring where the tube would get inserted into the air box and cut off enough so the crossover tube would mate with the air box

This is the instructions and measurements I've used on all the ones I've done.
