2015 should have rods that will handle a turbo. 2016 and up in new style engine have the weaker rods. Personally if I wanted a turbo sled I’d go the Sidewinder route.

I have a turbo Viper, faster than a Sidewinder but many headaches come along with that. Go the Sidewinder route unless your willing to fix a lot of stuff.

I bought my 15 used the March before the Sidewinder came out and there have been a few headaches, some the winders have many they don't. I've been through multiple flashes (Arctic cat ECU sucks), 2 starters which took out gears (one on warrantee one not), front suspension arms cracked, front shock bar bent, replaced front spring, steering upgrades, jack shaft upgrade, rear shock upgrade, fuel controller upgrade, injector upgrade, ski upgrade, muffler upgrade x2 and now I'm putting an intercooler in...who knows maybe a shim and studs next year. You will be ahead of the game with a hurricane set up (should beat stock winders) but when your Sidewinder buddies start getting flashes up to 300 + hp with a computer and a few bolt on parts you might regret buying a turbo viper...or maybe not.

If you have the sled already and are looking for an economical way to get the thrill of a stock Sidewinder then picking up a used kit is a great way to go. I installed one on an '18 last year. It was finicky for me in the beginning because I had to troubleshoot a few things that came with buying used but once I had it tuned it was a rocket. I put an install write up on the site. 2015 has good rods. Unfortunately my '18 did not.
