I think we need to see a pic of it off of the rollers. Compared to this pic, the skid is flat and the approach is not as sharp. The pic below, the sled is on rollers, looks a lot different than yours.

I agree with what everyone is saying. That is a pic of my race sled above and it has a 128 inch track on it with the rear skid moved back in the tunnel so it is not the best to compare to. when it was stock it had a little bit steeper approach up front but not much.

Here are a couple more pics with the sled on the floor.

The sled is sitting on a rear dolly...depending on where this is situated on the track the suspension looks different. I sat on mine once and it sunk to the ground. Loaded it right away on the trailer and took it to the dealers.. Found this out the hard way!!

cool looking mahine!!

Everytime I see a 128 skid relocate I wish that I didn't just buy a 121 1.5 intense. The approach angle is soooo much better. It looks proper, like the sled should be that way. The sleds in this post are sick. Orange and black wrap looks sweet, and I'd kill for that race sled

Dana, i cannot tell from the these latest pictures. Does the skid tip up on the end?

I still say that your attack angle is sharp as hell when comparing to the other sleds.

They are about $2,200.00 complete with install plates.

Hard to believe that I bought mine for $1100 when they came out just a few short years ago.

Don't meen to hijack....but look at how different the front end of the race sled is compared to the consumer version...sure wish I had $8G

Without a rider, the rear of the skid is off of the floor under the rear wheel, slightly, with a rider, the track and skid flatens out under the rear wheel. Does this answer your question?

yep. so does the attack angle flatten out also? just comparing the photo at the top of this page to yours, look at the front of the track. Yours is much steeper of an angle.

I do not have experience with an expert x, so my opinion is prob. wrong, but that is a very steep angle.

Is your track to tight? Is this what causes the rear to pull up w/o a rider?

Best of luck my friend.

I am ready too. Just finished up installing a relocate kit for the rear skid. Put a 128" track underneath her and swapped the floats for some traditional yamaha gas shocks up front.

We finally have some snow and I got out on the new ride. Everything looked and performed as expected. I did not do any high speed trails, just out with the kids, but so far so good.
