I was doing some things today with my sled,My front suspension is bent a good 2-3 inches,Would insurance pay for this? I hit a rock and you can clearly see that I gashed the spindle. I am going to try to use that for them to pay for it,Because when I 1st did it it didn't bend it because I checked it. If not how much does it cost to fix a bent suspension,What would be the - if I drove it like it is for a little while

I'd fix it. If things are bent it's going to change the way it handles and it also may be unsafe. I bent mine at a railroad crossing and my insurance covered it. This was the second time I've submitted a claim for my sleds in the past 6 years and they have not increased my rates (Liberty Mutual). I pay for coverage and if needed I use it.

whats bent? subframe? a-arms? or both? If it is just the a-arms, or just the subframe...you might be better off just fixing it yourself.

 Do you understand what you just posted?! Its things like this that makes everyones rates go up! :crap:

Does anyone else smell insurance fraud?

If I were himm Id shut my yap immediatley, sorry but that sh$t kinda pisses a guy off. I pay full rates on mine all year long, even for the UNDERINSURED and UNINSURED. If you had insurance on it when it happened and you have a decent insurance company they should fix it. :crap:

all the guys who posted something about it can stop crying I am not going to do it,I am just going to bring it to my dealer and see how much he wants for it

WOW, I really don't know what to say.

The problem is there is a reason you shouldn't have them pay for it. It's fraud. :o|

You should have been performing regular maintenance on your sled like a post ride inspection every time you ride. Then you would have realized you had damage and had the company your parents were paying premiums to pay for the repair. That's how insurance works.

The right thing to do is contact the carrier that insured the sled when the damage was done. Explain that the damage happened while it was covered, and file a claim with them. Then go back and smack the dealer for convincing you to commit insurance fraud.

That way you be able to ride the sled instead of the New York Insurance Frauds Bureau sending you to jail for the winter.

there is no point in explaining it to them,It's a waste of time and they won't fix it. Its been to long,So AGAIN I am just going to bring it to my dealer and have him fix it,See how much he wants to do it.

How much is it going to cost for the dealer to do it if its the subframe? I expect somewhere from 2-3k but what do you guys think?
