I'll say it again, chain machine to tree at rear and yank spindle with wheeler or tractor, works every time. your only going to pound the $hit out of it anyway, save 3g

Giving advice like this is ridiculous. If you bend things don't just hook it at both ends and yank. The rear bumper and tunnel are not very strong so you'll probably end up with more bent parts. If your shocks are offset in the a-arms then it is possible to bend the subframe back into place with a pry bar but it's still important to thoroughly check all the steering parts and frame for damage and wear. These things are dangerous and need to be checked over periodically throughout the season and especially after an impact.

dangerous? Not sure what you mean by that....

similar but more civilized way...

chain or better yet use a heavy tow strap securing to a good sized tree or telephone pole with a nearby unmoveable object like above...on the sled you can use a hitch on a full sized 4x4 for example...get a ratchet come along...much easier to control than a powered yank...

Ive even straightened a lower control arm on a car etc this way

here is a couple, I can get more but Im in a hurry right now. The chassis one is more torn down than you need to but it gives you a idea of what it looks like

the subframe

youre over thinking it....it wont take much at all to pull it back into square...
heres another idea...if you dont want to pull it back yourself...

know anyone with a body shop ...with a frame rack...same principal...it would be a joke how easilly it would pull back to them..

I posted it on here last year, I hit a burried safe with my spindle while I was on one ski in the powder..it didn't bend the a-arms or anything but it did put a nice gouge in the spindle and bent the subframe which made it look like everything else was bent. What I did was contact yamaha and tell them what happened and they warrantied the subframe. I believe it would cost you nearly $1,000 us with labor. No need to call the ins. company just call yamaha and see what they have to say. They will work with you if there are no other obvious damages but the frame. They paid for the sub-frame and labor. Good luck

Well Gall darn it 2008 Nytro RTX, I think you should just cut your losses and get the Doo. I mean, despite all of the examples of how to fix, it seems with you there is just no way possible to fix it.....

At least your dad is smart enough to let you take the Doo whilst he holds onto the real sled in the garage..........

I'd like to hear less bitching out of you and more fixing. Now make a plan and get to work fixing that subframe!

;)! ;)! ;)! ;)! ;)!
