which turbo
I have own a MC Express and a Simons CPR turbo. There is no comparison when driving. The CPR turbo is the only one I would go with. Everything that I noticed was wrong or could be done better with the MC kit was addressed with the CPR kit.

Hammer, I assume you have spoken with Mac or Al but I'll give my 2 cents anyway. Did you have any codes flashing on your gauge? My guess would be that you did and that it was a TPS code. Sounds like a possible ecu issue. Your symptoms sound like a similar situation we duplicated while testing which ended up being a missing TPS input. You say that it wasn't impressive below 60 mph so something else must be a foot as this baby comes out of the hole like a preist after an alterboy. What clutching are you running - gearing? Are you sure you installed the clamps correctly on the t-bodys? Don't forget the stock limiting spacers on the bolts. I have never blown and intercooler or t-body off on the Apex even at over 18 psi and with me abusing the throttle.
Let me know if I can help.

Just curious, isn't the stage I maxed at 10psi? How were you getting 18 outta it? Thanks
Abe -- Yep, talked to both of them... The boots had what looked and felt like silicone spray on them from the factory... I removed them and cleaned them with brake cleaner (now they are real tacky) and reinstalled them, they definitely won't come off again... I left the clamp stop blocks in like Mac told me... Now all I need is some new flippen hyfax so I can go ride this thing again...
This is what I said...

These sleds ARE every bit of 600lbs… Powerful and knarly, yes… Quick and agile, no… I just had my first experience with managing the weight… That's why I am missing my BB, n2o, 500lb Viper…

Don’t read into that too much boys, my 776 Viper launched quick at 9100rpm on the bottle, 0-60mph in a heartbeat with that stiff lug camo… But I’m thinking by the time the Viper reached 60mph this SCApex would probably overtake it at 80mph… Traction is an issue (needs about 600 3-inch picks)… As stated by owners above, I’m sure that I will get used to and learn appreciate the differences… Rider position and suspension comfort A++ in my book…

Wierd, I was told just a couple days ago that stage II hadn't even been started building and was never ridden. Is it coming along quicker than expected? As of today whats the estimated shipping date? Stil Feb/spring?

You guys who running apex turbos may get problems with T.O.R.S/TPS turn up after a few second with "wide-open". it may be the "trottles" that dont return as fast as needed becouse the boost.
The return spring in the trottle body needs to tighten up.
A few occurrence have been around here with the same cause.

I don,t know how anybody can run under 15 lbs I tried it and after running 18lbs, 15 is as low as I will go with out the arm stretching pull it just doesn,t seem right.
