If you had to buy an 07 over again.......

Now i have the apex er,and had the attak,if i had to buy another sled,it would be between the new rtx 07 and the apex er and install what front shocks i found worked the best for me..

Id probobly buy the RTX.. and put the GYTR shocks on it.. (only because of worrying about the shock wire breaking)

DIRK... Dude the GYTR shocks are awsome.. dont know why you think different.. They eat choppy snow like its going out of style

Attak all the way and up grade to the GYTR shocks , put my stock ones to shame.. Changed my 06s over now I wont have to with the GT.

Because he rode my Attak with them on and compared them to his. When I got home from the Muni TY ride I installed my stockers and sold the piggy backs. I'm really looking forward to trying out the Fox Floats on my RTX. The Yamaha engineers I spoke with all raved about them.......

Mighty you'll enjoy the floats, IMO they are GREAT!!!

I do have to buy new in 07, and I am leaning towards the RTX, The 06 is awesome, but I stole it from my wife and she wants it back, I almost had her talked into an 06 Nytro, ( I like the looks) but she wants her red and black sled back. The Attak does intrest me a little bit though......

the GT Terry (NOS-PRO) said, really sucked the big bumps up. Saw in the other post that the spring is stiffer, and with the shock combination, really does make a difference!

I bought the Apex GT,
I'd still buy the Apex GT,
but, my second choice would have been the Apex RTX, although I prefer the 2006 color scheme, I'd take the suspension under the 2007 as my choice!

The GYT-R shocks on Friday's test ride worked well in the 1-2 foot bumps, but the way they had it set up, rode a little worse than the floats. Yamaha had different calibrations on them this time, and was good to see the floats finally get my approval.

ATTAK,
With the Floats, or the GYTR.
The GYTR's felt really good on the Attak. I would like to try some Floats for a extended ride
I now know that I got the right sled for me, my ATTAK

Same here Scott

More controllable, as you saw on Saturday.

As I posted earlier I love my 06' Attak, It's the best sled I've ever owned. But I was shocked @ how good the RTX was in the Big whooped up corners we had on Fridays demo ride. First sled I ever rode with floats but I thought the hits in the front end felt the lightest in the handle bars on the RTX's. And Nytros for that matter. The CK will not be as good as the monoshock over 80% of trail conditions but in the deeper holes and big jumps the CK feels more to my liking. 07' RTX for me. 06' Attak for wife.

Excuse me???? You call THAT control? LaLaLa

'morning, Terry!! :tg:

Morning Jim! I got the sarcasim...............

The floats were more controllable than the GYT-R's.

I guess when you have that big of whoops, and bumps and water 6 inches deep, I guess that's why I stayed in control on the trail. But you know me, like the big stuff once in awhile.

CONTROL???

Control is not beat a kid to death when he hits you with his 4wheeler on the trail.
NOW THATS CONTROL :D :D :D :D :D

Control is making a bottle of Jack last 2 whole days in the garage :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:
