I am going to be taking out the rear skid on my 06 Apex GT, I want to sent the shock out to either pioneer or hygear (still undecided on which) and also inspect for cracks and get them powder coated at 1/2baked. Now what I can't see is where the EC shock unplugs? Does it unplug at the resevior or does it unplug all the way up by the fuse box?

I want to know this, also, as I plan on putting a 128" extension kit on.

It's got it's own short harness, then there's a 20" (or so) harness that goes up to above your right footwell.

Either at the shock itself, or near the fuse box you can disconnect the connector and feed it back if you like.

Make sure you leave enough slack when reinstalling,or the wire will be broken as soon as the suspension starts articulating.

Hey Wizzard, You should call bruce from B-LINE Control. He is one of the very best shock guy's in the country. He was on the Yamaha race team awhile back.. He did our shocks on the 06 Attak. 651-257-0828
