2018 mtx
So i have a 2018 mtx 153, it has pipe and cold air intake, running stock boost and i'm in bc and ride good snow most of the time around an average say about -10*c. With this being a mtn sled and the intercooler is upfront has anyone done any testing to see if the intercooler has any real effect on charge temps? If, one: the intake air is coming from a cold air intake, and two: with my limited seat time wouldnt that intercooler be stuffed with power and thus having little or no air flow thru it? Thanks

I'm not a mountain guy, but just happened to be cruising the TY forums for any stimulus at all.
If you go look in the "Sidewinder Trail Talk" section, there is plenty of info on this.
Yes the intercooler gets clogged.
Yes it robs power.
Yes there are multiple solutions including going to the Cat nose, frogskin & even a kit from Barn-o-Parts

i will try this from Mcx this winter

I am interested in that for trail use. Where did you get it. I don't see it on their site.

May I ask the price?

Check out the barn of parts intercooler guard I love mine and it doesn't plug up
