Is phazer good for the wife and kid

I love mine! im only 112lb and it gets alittle hard to throw around after a long ride. It does feel a litttle tippy but once you get used to it its a blast! If you dont do alot of jumping and ditch banging you can soften all the shocks up and it makes alot more stable to.

I have 09 rtx and weigh 150 lightest 4 stroke out there its a different ride then other sleds they sell around my area for $3000 up to $8000

my wife loves hers, she's logged on 10 000 miles so far,i mentioned to her about possibly getting her a nytro for her next sled and she'd rather have another phazer cuz she loves it so much, dang,i wished she would agree with me,then i could sneak out with the nytro once in a while

I rode a buddy's Phazer for the first time last week & it seems like a fun sled. I jumped off a Nytro RTX so the power difference was the main thing I noticed which I love the grunt of the Nytro.

i ride w a guy who just bought a nytro rtx se and ave been riding it and hands down we both like the phazer better. the nytro is only 50lbs heavier but it feels like all 50 are sitting on top of the ski's

Move the ski spacers together to widen your ski stance, put on a good pair of after market skis, c&a, usi, slydog, anything but stock, and a schmidt bros. sway bar and the sled will not be nearly as tippy as stock. It will corner flatter and side hill better. I love mine and can't hardly get my 12 year old off it, he can ride it no problem. They are torquey on the low end and midrange, right where you want it for trail, or ditch riding. Simply a riot to ride.

I've ridden a Phazer on several occasions and found myself smiling more than on any other sled. You tend to search for bumps or stuff to jump because the sled is so much fun to ride. Yes it doesn't have the power of a FX Nytro or an Apex, but they are a blast. Easy steering and easy to ride. I think it would be perfect sled for your wife or child.

We own an 07 FX, basically for our boys to ride, 17, 14, 12.... but i find myself riding it alot around home, tight and twisty riding, whenever they dont go!! lots of smiles per mile there!

My son is 12 and this is his first year riding I bought him a 2008 phazer rtx he loves it he does complain alittle bit about how rough it rides but that is just some adjusting my wife hasn't taken it out yet I think the phazer is a great sled for any one especially the lighter weight people

Dave if we get any snow this week end you can bring the wife and kid down and try mine.

We havent really gotten any time on it yet but the woman seemed ok on it just putting around the yard. It was her very first ride on a snowmobile. I wasnt willing to let her son (9 year old almost 10) ride it at the time.

I ended up picking them up a 02 500 cross country edition. Again seemed perfect for the woman but to me seemed a little to much for the kid. I know your son has been riding the snow scoots for a while now so he might be a little better on the phazer (dont remember how old he is).

Edit***

On the plus side... If you pick up a Phazer you can bring it down here and ride with me and not worry about your Apex on the goat paths out here.
