What's the verdict on 2 (or 3) wheels inside rails vs 4 wheels? I don't understand why they come stock with just two wheels inside the rails if the argument is that it should side hill better and then add two idler wheels outside the rails at the front of the rails..??

That's a good point! I never felt a handling difference with the added wheels but some claim they do.

I just, finally, got my 16 XTX and the first thing I put on was a Larson Racing 4th wheel kit. I really have to say that I was over impressed with the quality, precision and fit of this kit. It truly is way over built. After putting it on my sled with a buddy, he ordered one to replace his factory 4th wheel kit. It is really amazing how flimsy the tri hub is once you get it out.

I'm having a hard time deciding on the jt 4the wheel kit or just the tri hub replacement. Can i replace the tri hub with the suspension in or do I have to take it out? 2015 viper stx dx. I have 5300km on it so i want to change it before it fails

I just did mine in place with the track still on. It was really not that hard and only took about 1/2 hour. Mine was brand new with no miles on it so that may have affected the time.

I put in the Larson racing 4th wheel kit. You remove the tri hub and install the two inside wheels on the axle put the axle in the track between the frame rails the. Install the outside spacers and in stall the outer wheels. Put on track adjusters, adjust track and tighten up outside bolts on outside wheels.
