Just a heads-up

As I was adjusting my chain yesterday with the muffler off I noticed a potential problem that could be a issue down the road. On top of the chaincase there is a wire loom that's up against the heat shield from the flexpipe from the header. Its has the start of a cut from rubbing on the edge of the heat shield. Fixed it with a piece of hose to protect it from further damage. the cut is at the end of the pencil in pic

Same thing on mine. I just bent the heat shield.

me as well just bent it in, mine was threw the heat shield coating :S
